In The Shadow

This piece was created for a curated show at OpenStage Theatre & Company in Fort Collins, CO, where artists were asked to express their understanding and interpretation of AIDS, how it’s affected the individual artist, and the world around them, based on HBO’s Angels in America. The image incorporates a human form submerged in water with linear elements created from drastically decreased letter forms from negatively skewed articles bemoaning AIDs victims and their plight as suffers find acceptance and healing.
